“… the keeper of the inn is the keeper of the flame, that thousand-year-old flame of hospitality which the graduates of our Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management must hold high and carry into the hotels of the 21st century.”
~ CONRAD N. HILTON
FROM THE SPEECH ANNOUNCING HIS FOUNDING GIFT
ABOUT HILTON COLLEGE:
Hilton College was founded nearly 50 years ago by Conrad N. Hilton. Looking for a way to give students the kind of opportunities he didn’t have when he started his career in 1919, Hilton gifted $1.5 million to create the College, and the rest is history.
Today, the College is among the top hospitality programs in the world and still benefits from the generous support of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which has contributed in excess of $70 million to create opportunities for students, the future leaders of the industry.
CONRAD N. HILTON COLLEGE
